CAGC was founded in 1989 and is a non-profit amateur sports association. The purpose of CAGC is to promote, enhance and protect soaring in Alberta. It does this with the spirit of volunteerism, continuous learning, and sport. By creating a safe environment, gliding and soaring can be enjoyed by the new to the very experienced.

CAGC is in a unique position to offer both winching and aero tow for our launches. It is surrounded by prairie, yet close to the mountains making it one of best places in the world to learn to fly.
